Full Description
Kofta Blend No.17 - Kofta is associated with several regions, from India to Greece, what they have in common is they use minced meat combined with onions and spices. They can be made with a wide range of meats and vegetables and sometimes fish, which is more typical in Indian versions. The Kofta can be shaped either as a ball, pattie or in sausage shape and formed from minced ingredients. This mince is where it gets its name as Kofta translated means to pound or to grind.
Our Kofta blend is based on Greek flavourings which they would traditionally serve in kebab houses, accompanied by Tzatziki or plain yoghurt. They are easy to prepare and can be cooked in several ways, if it's not bbq weather no problem these work well under a grill or simply frying them.
