Anything with mash has to be a comfort food and this classic of Swedish meatballs and creamy gravy is just heart warming.
Ingredients
- 500g pork mince
- 2 teaspoon spicemasters Swedish Meatball mix
- 1 tablespoon veg oil
- 800ml beef stock gravy
- 900g of potatoes
- 50 to 100ml of milk
- Knob of butter
- 2 tablesoons double cream
- Salt &
- pepper to season
Directions
Peel, cut and boil the potatoes in a lightly salted pan of water
Mix the spice mix with the pork mince.
Pre heat your oven to 220 degrees.
Ball up with your hands and brush over lightly with the oil. A golf ball is an ideal size.
Strain your potatoes. Once dry mash the potatoes adding the butter and then milk until you're happy with the consistency. Season to taste.
Bake in the oven on a tray for 15 minutes or until fully cooked
Meanwhile make your gravy and add 1 to 2 tablespoons of cream to create that classic Swedish gravy.
