Paella Blend
Paella Blend No.15 – Often associated with using a wide range of seafood it is a dish that some shy away from, fearing the “nuts & bolts” of shellfish. It was however originally not cooked with seafood and it is a versatile dish that has more versions than there are cooks cooking it. Whilst many assume it’s a national Spanish dish it actually originates from a regional Valencian dish. Paella translates into a pan, so it is a dish cooked in a pan, commonly a shallow pan with two handles but any decent-sized saucepan will suffice.
Our blend will help you create a wonderful authentic flavour quickly and easily, and once you’ve tried our standard recipe you will be able to incorporate different vegetables, meats and seafood to make your own favourite version. As long as you’ve got the basics spices right there is no right or wrong paella, only the one you love the most.
It’s such a simple dish to make and packed full of flavour, if you’ve never tried it before give it a go and if you’re not too sure about any of the ingredients we use in our recipe simply change them to ones you do.
